CALPALMY Clear Acrylic Sheet 1/8" 12x12 2-Pack
Flat, clear, and surprisingly rigid for 1/8" stock. These acrylic sheets earned a spot in my studio not because of the packaging, but because of what they do once you put a tool to them.
TL;DR Summary
Pros
- Optical clarity is consistent — no haze or ripple visible in the cast
- Scores and snaps cleanly with basic hand tools; engraver-friendly surface
- Ships flat with protective masking paper on both faces
- 2-pack format gives you a working sheet and a practice sheet at a fair price
Cons
- 12x12 size limits use cases — larger projects require seaming or a different order
- Masking paper left a faint adhesive residue on one sheet; needed light buffing

Extended Observations
Flat, clear, and surprisingly rigid for 1/8" stock. These acrylic sheets earned a spot in my studio not because of the packaging, but because of what they do once you put a tool to them.
This earned its place. I pick up the sheet and it has real presence — smooth on both sides, edges still protected by the paper masking, a faint chemical smell that fades fast. At 1/8" thick, there's more flex than I expected, but not so much that it feels cheap. It sits flat. That matters.
The clarity is genuine. Hold it up to a window and the light passes through clean, no milky haze, no visible ripple in the cast. For display work, shadow boxes, or small signage, that optical quality reads immediately. I've used pricier sheets that didn't look this clean.
It cuts well. I scored it with a utility knife and a metal ruler — three clean passes, then snapped it over a table edge. The break was straight. I also ran a piece through a laser engraver and the surface took the detail without crazing or lifting. Cricut users will find it cooperative too, though scoring-and-snapping remains the most satisfying method by hand.
The 2-pack format is sensible. One sheet for the project, one for the mistake. At this price point and size, it's a low-stakes entry into working with acrylic sheets — enough material to learn the material without committing to a full panel order.
Two small things to note: the 12x12 format is genuinely useful but limiting if your project runs larger — you'll need to plan seams. And the masking paper, while protective, leaves a faint adhesive ghost on one of my two sheets that buffed out but required attention. Neither issue changes my verdict. For small-batch craft and studio use, this is a reliable sheet that does what it promises.
Our Verdict
Flat, clear, and surprisingly rigid for 1/8" stock. These acrylic sheets earned a spot in my studio not because of the packaging, but because of what they do once you put a tool to them.
