Unlike traditional in-ear models that block out the world, or cumbersome over-ears, these earbuds literally sit above and around your ear opening, piping in rich, clear audio while leaving your ear canal completely unobstructed. This 'OpenAudio' concept is brilliant, allowing you to enjoy your music, podcasts, or calls without being deafened to traffic, conversations, or your doorbell.
Sound quality, as expected from Bose, is superb. Forget any preconceptions about 'open-design' meaning tinny or weak audio.
